STRESS DEFUSION
Stress Defusion is a strategy for identifying and releasing energy blockages that control our lives.
At times of extreme trauma and the high level of emotion associated with the trauma, we make decisions about the situation, the world, ourselves, and/or others. These decisions become the programs that we use to structure our lives from then on. For the most part we are not even aware that we have made the decisions or that they are buried deep within our subconscious and we are certainly not aware of the power they hold. Held in the subconscious mind, they remain with us until we choose to remember the time when we made those decisions and feel the emotions that were associated with the events at that time. Blocking the emotional energy that is associated with the memories, keeps the programmes in place.
For the most part the decisions we make at times of intense trauma are negative ones: "I'm in pain", "I'm not wanted", "I can't do what I want to do". They are statements of what we don't want, rather than what we do want, so at the level of the conscious mind we attempt to over-ride them without even knowing that they exist. A battle between what we want at the level of the conscious mind and what we have chosen to experience at the level of the subconscious mind, creates stress. And the sad thing is that the subconscious mind is far, far more powerful than the conscious mind, and it always wins.
Stress Defusion is a strategy that provides a way for someone to find the "story" that initiates the sub-conscious programme. Access is via the eyes which are the windows of the soul and the filing clerks of the mind. Their job is to input information and also to locate it and bring it to conscious awareness. The "story" might be an event in this lifetime or a series of events that occur lifetime after lifetime, all with the same theme. Once identified, it becomes possible to access the emotions that are tied into the story. Emotional energy is what keeps everything in place. Allowing ourselves to access and feel the associated emotions, releases the energy that has kept the programme in place. Finally there is a need to understand what has been learnt as a result of the experiences that have been the consequence of running the negative programmes. Learning that behaviours based on negative decisions about ourselves and the world, actually don't work, is the important outcome of this process. We learn most from the experiences we prefer to not have had. Understanding the purpose of our experiences allows us to release judgement of ourselves and others who we have blamed for the bad things that have occurred in our lives. Those we judge turn out to be our most important teachers.
Releasing negative programmes changes our lives. Once we have learnt what we have needed to learn from these experiences, all the problems associated with the programmes we have created for ourselves, all disappear as if by magic. Pain disappears instantly. Stress levels reduce. Bad relationships and distorted patterns of behaviour resolve themselves. This may seem to be impossible but if you read the testimonials you will find that this is the experience of those who have experienced the Stress Defusion process.
